"Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors" Heading to PSN

Capcom's supernatural fighter will be available digitally--now beg for a new one!

When Darkstalkers came out in 1994, we didn't really know what to make of it.  At the time, the pinnacle of fighting games was Super Street Fighter II Turbo, and it had just become an accepted norm that Capcom's fighters would retain a relatively "realistic" look with the cartoony graphics of the time.

Enter Bengus' incredible artwork, popping out of the screen with characters and stretched and deformed in ways that we'd never seen before, giving us an unforgettable cast of monsters, mutants and demons instead of hardened martial artists.  That is why we all fell in love with Darkstalkers.

After almost a decade of dormancy, Capcom is reviving the series on PSN in late November with the first game, Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors (simply titled Vampire in Japan), letting you mix it up with Morrigan, Demitri, Felicia and the rest of the gang.  So far, according to Capcom the launch is set for November 29, but we'll keep you posted if that changes.

Who else is going to be grabbing this?  Or will you be waiting for the sequels?
