Pre-orders Open for New and Socially Awkward Miku Nendroid

Based on the character in the "Weekly First Hatsune Miku" manga

A new Nendroid figure based on Hatsune Miku's appearance in Weekly First Hatsune Miku, a 4-panel comic currently being serialized in Weekly Young Jump, is now available for pre-order.

 

Here's the song Good Smile Company selected as her theme, "Mukashi Mukashi no Kyou no Boku," (commonly translated as "Once Upon A Me"), written by DECO*27 and animated by Poesan:

The figure goes for 3500 yen, or a little over US $44, and will be available next April. I think my favorite look is anti-social Miku fleeing with soft cream, but how about you guys?

It's such a strange choice. The design first showed up a year ago so it's a little odd timing. Then the original design is already super deformed so you've basically got an even more SD version of an SD version of Miku. I'd really rather have a figure of her as she appears in the art, that's a figure I might buy.

When I look at this Nendroid I see so much of myself in it. This is a buy for me. :)
(everything in the video too was like my everyday life...I don't know if I should feel amused or saddened by that...)

Miku with angry eyes just seems wrong. She should be sweet and silly and scatter brained. Not perpetually pissed looking. The cardboard box is adorable though.
