Aniplex USA to Release Japanese "Fate/Zero" Blu-Ray Box

Japanese Blu-Ray boxset being launched on same day as Japanese release with English production notes

Aniplex USA has announced that it will release the first Fate/Zero Blu-Ray box set next year on March 7th, 2012, the same day as the Japanese release date. The first set includes the following:

 

  •  Video: 16:9 HD Widescreen / 1920×1080p / MPEG-4 AVC
  • Audio: Japanese dialog / Linear PCM / Stereo 48KHz/24bit
  • Subtitles: English and Japanese
  • Includes 7 discs (5 Blu-ray discs + 2 Bonus CDs): Total length of more than 330 minutes!!
  • Extras include New bonus animation (written by Kinoko Nasu), Trailers, TV spots and Textless Opening and Ending
  • Bonus CD 1: Fate/Zero Original Soundtrack Vol. 1 with Music by Yuki Kajiura
  • Bonus CD 2: Fate/Zero Original Drama CD written by Gen Urobuchi

The set will retail for $498.98, but the series will be available via RightStuf for pre-order at the discounted price of $369.98. The set was previously revealed to feature English subtitles, but was not initially confirmed for a North American release.
