"Wagnaria!!" Zippo Lighters Offered in January
Apparently the Family Restaurant Has a Smoking Section
Dark Horse Comics used to carry Zippo lighters based on Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Hellsing, Trigun, Gungrave, Gunsmith Cats, Blade of the Immortal, Johji Manabe's long forgotten Drakuun and even the Adam Warren version of the Dirty Pair. Safe to say none of those carried the cognitive dissonance that comes with lighters based on family restaurant set comedy manga/anime Working: Wagnaria!!.
Nevertheless, a pair of silver colored lighters with edged designs of Working's moe waitresses Popura Taneshima and Aoi Yamada will be available in Japan this January for ¥8,925 each.

Failure! Inami-chan is the more popular, she sould be getting a lighter... not one of the others... I just cant decide which when I like Taneshima and Yamada equally.

Souma and Yamada on the same lighter would be funny... but then again, Souma on the lighter for all the characters for Working!! would be funny too.

If it's made by Zippo then it's a good lighter. They come with lifetime guarantees so if it gets damaged and needs to be fixed, you can send it back to them and they'll fix it for free. If they can't, they replace it. But even so, it is expensive for it but it's meant to be more for a collection.

In that case, to answer your question, all their lighters are made from stainless steel unless otherwise specified. The other alternatives being brass, silver, and gold. So more likely than not, this lighter is just a regular stainless or high polish blank that sells for about $15. But being specially made for an anime makes it a collectible thus making it more expensive. Still not worth it IMHO, so I agree with you.
I miss smoking, I can't use my anime lighters anymore. I might buy one anyway though.

Well the Popura one will be too small to work properly either, so it's a lose-lose situation.
Yeah, no way am I paying ￥9,000 for a zippo lighter.
