VIZ Media's book distributor has posted new prose listings of The Future is Japanese anthology, from the Haikasoru sci-fi label, and award-winning author Project Itoh's adaptation of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The former is slated for May 2012, and the latter rescheduled for June.
Project Itoh (the pen name for Satoshi Ito) recieved the S-F Magazine Readers' Japanese Short Story Award for "The Indifference Engine", Nihon SF Taisho Award, Seiun Award and Philip K. Dick Award "Special Citation" for Harmony. After passing away of cancer in 2009 at the age of 34, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker was dedicated to his memory.
