Some updates surfaced today regarding the TV anime adaptation of Romio Tanaka's light novel series Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita (Humanity Has Declined), which is about a period in time after a fairy-like race of beings takes over the Earth. In addition to some staff and studio details, the series will also be adapted into a manga to be serialized in Monthly Ikki and Monthly Comic Alive.
Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats!, Kami-sama Dolls) is directing the anime series, with Makoto Uezu (Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?, Kami-sama Dolls) in charge of series composition, and Kyuuta Sakai (Steins;Gate, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni) handling character design and chief animation direction for the AIC A.S.T.A. (Persona 4, Sora no Otoshimono) production.

Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita will air in summer 2012.
