Melty Blood has a pretty cool history as a game. Starting out as a fan-made (doujin) PC game inspired by Type-Moon's Tsukihime visual novel, it eventually got retooled by Type-Moon and released in arcades and on PS2 as Melty Blood Act Cadenza, and later Melty Blood Actress Again.
The game has a pretty strong following, considering it's never been released Stateside, but it's even won fighting game traditionalists like myself over with its aggressive gameplay and unique adaptations of familiar fighting game mechanics.
While gamers in Japan are checking out title update Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code in arcades and on PS2, developer French Bread has released a PC-exclusive demo of the newest version which you'll be able to try out too. Here's the system requirements:
-OS: Windows Japanese Sp3/Vista/7 XP
-CPU: Intel Celeron 440 2.0GHz or higher
-Memory: 1.5GB or higher
-Video Card: DirectX 9.0c or higher, Direct3D w/Shader 3.0, NVIDIA GeForce 7900 or AMD Radeon X1600 recommended
-Video Memory: 256MB or higher
-Also requires 2.1GB free HD space
