"Acchi Kocchi" to Air in Spring 2012, Staff Revealed

No, that is not Konata's mom...

According to a photo of some promotional material, the TV anime adaptation of Ishiki's Acchi Kocchi (Place to Place) revealed earlier this month will premiere in April of 2012. The series will be animated by AIC with Fumitoshi Oizaki (Astarotte no Omocha, Romeo X Juliet) directing, Kaoru Suzuki (Asobi ni Ikuyo!) as assistant director, Nobuhiko Amagawa doing series composition, Atsuko Watanabe as character designer, and Hideki Furukawa (Sora no Otoshimono, Asobi ni Iku yo!) as general animation director.

Serialized since 2006, Acchi Kocchi is a 4 panel format love comedy manga that takes place in a high school and centers around Tsumiki, a tsundere girl, and Io, the unsociable guy she likes.

need more details to properly make a judgement as to whether I should check it out.
K Thanks, CR!
Oh no, seems I forgot about this already. I need to better remember it as the artist impressed me. And looking up the staff I'd say I've definitely enjoyed their work on multiple occasions.
Looks like it will be funny---I usually enjoy anime adaptations based on the "newspaper style" comics panel format ("Lucky Star", "Working!") because they have a similar vibe to the American newspaper comics I used to read all the time when I was younger (Calvin and Hobbes. Peanuts, Garfield)
