"History’s Strongest Disciple Kenichi" Anime OVA Scheduled

There's a whole lot of the martial arts manga History’s Strongest Disciple Kenichi that didn't get adapted into its 50-episode, two-season anime series. A bit of that backlog will be chipped away in a new Original Video Animation from Brain’s Base (Baccano!, Durarara!!).

 

A new Amazon listing has the video shipping with the limited edition of the manga's 46th volume, due March 14th.

If only they had an english translation too id be all over this. Looking forward to seeing how the OVA turns out though have high hopes for it since I like HSDK quite a bit for what it is.

Meh, wasn't too excited by this. Funimation will most likely get the license for this as they already streaming this series awhile ago. I feel like this series could be a masterpiece if they take out all the overexaggered comedy.

Please be good enough to lead to making another series. I really want to see the masters actually fight. They cut that out of the anime adaptation. It kinda made me mad, but I can see why they did it.
