Crunchyroll Adds "Poyopoyo" Anime to Winter 2012 Lineup

Saturdays at 4:00 PM Pacific, starting January 7th

The round-bodied cat Poyo stars in his own anime this winter, based on Ruu Tatsuki's 4-panel manga Poyopoyo Kansatsu Nikki ("Poyopoyo Observation Diary"). Now Crunchyroll has announced a simulcast—you can catch Poyopoyo on Saturdays at 4:00 PM Pacific starting January 7th.

 

Here's the official synopsis:

 

“Seemingly too cute for many, this will be a comedy for all ages and types! Follow this unique family and its spherical cat, in a warm-hearted comedy for the winter!”

 

 

Poyopoyo will be available worldwide (except in Japan).

Uh, going to skip on this one. Looking for a serious anime this winter season somehow, someway, I just don't see this series find into that category.

let me guess, another 3 minute per episode show, well crunchy, get enough of these, and you might have the equivalent to one regular show, gees, if it wasn't for the nisamonogatari, and the pirates anime, I would have canceled my subscription
