Doraemon: Nobita and the Island of Miracles ~Animal Adventure~ is a 3DS game based on the newest Doraemon anime movie by the same title. It's currently in development at Furyu.
Players follow the plot of the movie (where Nobita and pals visit an animal paradise) and receive missions to take pictures of certain animals. The cool part is that you use the 3DS's gyroscope to play, so you really point (with the system in your hands) and shoot (with the A button). Doraemon grades your photography skills as you go and the Animal Encyclopedia records your best shots alongside creature info.
There are also seven minigames that show up as you advance through the story, which can be played in challenge mode once unlocked. Pictured above is a tilt-controlled canoe racing game, but the activities vary from beetle training/battling, to drumming, to—yep—riding giant dragonflies and more.
Doraemon: Nobita and the Island of Miracles ~Animal Adventure~ for 3DS goes on sale in Japan March 1st, two days before the movie release.
