"Sora no Otoshimono" to get Third Season

Already has had two TV series, and a movie last year

The cover of the March issue of Monthly Shonen Ace, on sale 1/26, will announce that Sora no Otoshimono (Heaven's Lost Property) will be getting a third season.

 

 

The advertisement below appeared on TV today, with a readable copy of the cover seen at 0:11 in the Youtube version below:

 

The announcement had previously been teased by Kadokawa in a separate Youtube video which announced that a "New" (written using the kanji for breasts) project begins which would be announced in the March issue of Monthly Shonen Ace.

 

Sora no Otoshimono has so far had two TV seasons and a movie which aired in theaters in Japan last year, all which have been licensed by FUNimation for home video release. The first season was released in December while the second season is scheduled for March on DVD and the movie does not yet have a date in North America.

thought s1 was pretty good, s2 it started losing my interests and became boring i really hope s3 doesn't wreck it entirely. (kinda like season 2 and 3 of zero did) season 4 of it i hope is redeeming

While it very well may be part of the Winter 2013 line-up, I wouldn't be surprised if it was part of this year's Fall line-up. Nogizaka Haruka season 3 was given the nod last summer, so hopefully it will be the Summer/Fall line-up. Infinite Stratos was part of last Winter's line-up and was given the nod back in May '10.

I don't think I'll be watching... I may give it a shot based on mood at the time it comes out... but I think 2 seasons of this show was plenty. It would be watching just for the sake of watching as this show is over for me... move on to something else/better.

Is there even enough content for a third season? Season two pretty much went filler near the end, and would have to be dealt with otherwise it wouldn't make sense.

I do like the series but wish there was more chapters that followed the storyline instead of the echi adventures of Tomoki, they are fun and all but take too much priority over actual relavent content.
