I like how Crunchyroll is reporting this, heh.
Also, Milky Holmes 2 finally got licensed. I am pleased. Best news of the season since Nisemonogatari getting licensed, IMO.
While I really didn't like the first season of Milky Holmes, I have to say that I'm really enjoying the second season... the first episode had me rolling on the floor. Second time I've said this in this news thread... but I'm really hoping they pull what they did with C3, Maken-ki etc on NN and catch up to the currently airing eps.
With High School DxD, both Nico and Funimation posted the first two episodes today, so they probably will catch up on all the series.

Of course, one difference is that you can actually view DxD at Funimation today. At the moment at Nico, you'll likely get the message telling you it can be viewed only by those in the U.S. and Canda, even if that is where you are.
Still no The Daily Lives of Highschool Boys -____-
No Aquarion EVOL or Kill Me Baby *flips multiple tables simultaneously*
Hoping that the High School DxD version that Niconico will be streaming is uncensored one.
+1
yeah still no sign of Aquarion Evol! damn it
Kill Me baby...Daily lives of Highschool Boys, Rinne no Lagrange...all great series that are still being passed up >_<
correction rinne is being simulcasted by viz.
DIdn't even know Viz had an official channel o_o

that's awesome ~

That only leaves KMB (I want this one more than any other show >_<) and Highschool boys (VERY funny, deserves a stream)
Rinne no Lagrange is being streamed by Viz.
Unfortunately Canadians don't get to watch it despite all the other streams being available to us.
That's because Viz hasn't manned up and grabbed their own server and instead use Hulu and only Hulu. Oh well. Another one bites the dust and for all I can find, I never see Viz titles unless it's Naruto or Bleach in stores. Doubt I'm going to find Rinne which I really would love to buy.
Yeah, I'll agree with EVOL. Was really looking forward to it. Funi doesn't even have it on it's survey for Most Wanted 2012 licenses.
Great. Thanks for the update :)
Good no cr titles that would be a waste. might check them out
Kinda surprised that Milky Holmes didn't get onto the CR lineup but w/e, I'm alright with it. O, might marathon Senki Zessho Symphogear later this year, looks like a Macross Frontier series
So the second season of Milky Holmes will be streamed at NicoNico after CR refused to get it. Interesting.....
or CR couldn't get it because Nico had their foot in the door already
I would imagine that is most likely the case, and CR I'm sure couldn't say anything about it... and since NicoNico takes their sweet time announcing things it's harder to put together that NN got it, CR didn't and it's not that anyone refused to license the title.
late much? The only good thing is that there aren't any crossover titles with other distributors. Also hoping that they catch up the series like they did last season after announcing late.

This is actually a really amazing season though if you live in the US as there are only about 5 shows that you cannot get through legal streaming outlets... that's out of like 40+ shows currently airing.

Also this couldn't have come at a more perfect time as the world seems to be cracking down on illegal distribution of anything... I'd love to see next season at 100% streamed legally... getting close.
So, to watch Milky Holmes season 2 I gotta go to Niconico..... oh well.
CR,
Starting today, anime titles released this January in Japan will be available on niconico.com!

High School DxD
Jan.23 14:00(PST)~

Senki Zesho Symphogear
Jan.27 6:30(PST)~

Detective Opera Milky Homes 2
Jan.29 9:30(PST)~
The times and release info are up
Symphogear is one of my favorite newcomers of the season---I really hope Funimation is the company who licensed it
Hmmm ok so i subscribed to nico nico ;p but appearently its PoS site... as it states that i cant watch any of their videos even tho i subscribed and im from the usa... it says tht it can only be watched in the usa.... and i cant find any help faqs for this issue nor will i bother posting to their gosh darn facebook as thats a PoS service as well ;p guess i wasted a quarter on crap that doesnt work ;p anyways at least it was a quarter... wish i knew before hand that it wouldnt work tho...should googled the site ;p no way to get help less i use facebook = epic fail :p im an individual and not a stupid groupie ;p
The site was working fine just a couple days ago. This is a recent bug, and I do agree that having Facebook be the only means of communication is pretty lame, but I am confident they will address it soon enough. It's only 8 AM over there right now. The site IS run by Japanese.
yeah I'm getting the same message about not being in the US and the videos wont play for me... also help through facebook is kinda ridiculous, I'll post something up there I guess to check their list of IPs again.
I ended up finding a support e-mail on their privacy page which is support@niconico.com and I sent over a message letting them know they have some US IP's incorrectly blocked. Which does happen from time to time and they should be able to fix it pretty quick... happened to me over at Anime Network and they had it fixed within a few hours.
cept I asked someone from Brazil to check it out, and they couldn't access it either.
I sent them an E-mail as well, making sure to note that even Brazillians cannot access the videos that state their region as being acceptable. I also detailed how it worked yesterday just fine, and likely when they put in Highschool DxD something went wrong. I also explained how I double-checked that my account had the correct region. And informed them that others on Facebook were experiencing the problem.

Hopefully they can fix it soon...
Ah ok... sounds like a bigger problem than IP recycling... today was the first day I tried to access the site and play videos in about a week so.

Something must have broken the region block filter as anime is the only thing I can't view there... I tried a few random videos from the top page and they worked just fine, anime though... blocked.
I noted one of the posts on their Facebook reporting the problem is 18 hours old, so the problem has gone unresolved for at least that long.
Thanks for the info... I'm not in a huge hurry to watch anything over there, but it would be nice if they could fix it soon enough.
Again, realize that they're running on Japan's time.
18 hours would put it at like... Monday afternoon as far as the reporting time, and now it's only Tuesday morning there, so today is probably the first day they are going to hear/start working on it.

It'll get solved soon enough.
hopefully it's solved tomorrow, since I don't have classes on that day.
As of 11:25 PM CST on Monday night, it appears to be a resolved. From a post I saw in the ANN forums, it was probably resolved at least an hour earlier.
Finally, They will put Senki Zesshou Symphogear on here ;D waited so long for it to come on here
So the Milky Holmes mystery is solved. I may have watched Milky Holmes if Crunchy had got it, but since Nico grabbed it, I won't bother. I have enough of a backlog on Crunchy as it is. I have no interest in the other titles. And I love the irony with the messed up IP addresses. Nico sure has a lot of issues they need to fix.
To all who care, looks like the NicoNico problem is solved... I was able to load up videos again, hopefully it's working for everyone else as well.
> Milky Holmes 1
> Worldwide outside Japan

> Milky Holmes 2
> US and Canada only

fucking cancer.
yay
love you sooo much cr
Why is it that Funimation liscenses the dirty one?! I checked out high School DxD, sounds really perverted. Not my thing.
I can't wait for Milky Holmes season 2!
Yes, I know I'm late on this, but I just found these series over on the Funimation web site. What are the chances of Crunchyroll getting some or all of these?
