Star Wars is one of those titles that almost everybody knows. It's been a part of so many people's childhoods (and adult lives) that even a small scene is instantly recognizable. Playing off of that universal familiarity, film enthusiast and mad genius Casey Pugh had a novel idea: cut the entire movie into fifteen-second blocks, let strangers film each block in whatever way they wished, and then recut the movie back together to form the complete Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
The "Director's Cut" of Star Wars Uncut features hand-picked selections from the entire project archive, and it's a real treat to see how much creativity some of these people have--as well as how many kids get to have fun reenacting great scenes from a great movie.
My personal favorites are the Greedo scene rendered in the SCUMM engine, and a surprise appearance by Darth Tater.

I'm hoping these guys have it in them to re-do Empire and Jedi at some point--until then, Darths & Droids will remain my favorite re-imagining of the Star Wars universe. What about you?
