Kadokawa confirms new "Heaven's Lost Property" season

The third season of Sora no Otoshimono (Heaven's Lost Property) was revealed on the cover of (and television commercial for) the March issue of Monthly Shonen Ace magazine, and now Kadokawa's official website is streaming a video confirming the announcement.

 

Warning: Trailer May Spoil Portions of the Sora no Otoshimono Movie.

The second half also includes a commercial for the movie's BD.

 

 

Sora no Otoshimono is based on the manga by Suu Minazuki. FUNimation licensed the first two TV seasons and movie for home video release. The first hit shelves back in December, with the second season scheduled for March on DVD in North America.

Funimation WAS going to do a DVD/Blu combo pack like the first season, but they said to Hell with that. . . D: I'd gladly wait a few more months for the combo pack...what about you guys?

It wasn't Funimation's decision to make. Kadokawa didn't want to lose sales in Japan on the Blu-ray, so they informed Funimation they could not release it.

YES!!! Season 3 f*ck yeah!!! Awesome series im excited although not happy about forte's release not being in blu ray which is very disappointing.

the question is, will this be more of the miniature people doing random perverted stuff or will it be the actual size people fighting and doing stuff?

all the mini-me's spoilt second season for me :(

That's what I'm wondering. Tbh, if they take out the chibi versions of some of the characters and only adds them occasionally, then this could be one of the best series of the year.

There has only been 3 episodes of actual episode spanning 2 seasons. Episode 1 and the two final episodes for each season. The rest were random content thrown in.

Movie was released in Japanese Theaters last June, and on JP Blu Ray in February. Expect US release a very long time from then =p

Hey CR, this isn't a trailer for the third season. The girl that appears so prominently in this trailer with the bells in her blue hair? She disperses after the movie (at least in the manga) this is just a trailer for the movie with spoilers. Even at the very end it flashes the movies logo and not a new one for the third season.

Hmmm..... Maybe CR could get the right to the third season. ? Before funimation does. You never know. KP would be smart to give CR rights as well as Fun since there will be a big lag ... (enough said)
