Father of series regular Carl Clover shows none of his son's restraint, kindness, or sanity
The February 14th release of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift EXTEND not only lets you pick up Platinum, Valkenhayn, and Makoto without DLC, but Carl's terrifying father Relius Clover--we last talked about him back in September.
Aksys recently released a new trailer introducing Relius' gameplay and a little of his backstory--aside from ruthlessly attacking his son, he also has some unexpected ties to a bunch of the BlazBlue cast.
The horrible thing about Relius (and Carl, for that matter) is that a lot of their combos are based on hitting somebody with their puppet, then keeping them there in hitstun with their puppet while Relius/Carl beats on them with their bare hands. Practice those Rapid Cancels if you want to keep him and his flailing psycho puppet off of you.
