Wow, in the series Griffith just looked kind of girly, but now he truly looks like a girl.
I'm still very excited about this. It's too bad I probably won't get to see it for quite some time, since it's starting in the theaters.

Here we go again. I was just thinking that the elitists are going to complain about CGI. There's nothing wrong with CGI. Infact it's a smoother experience and can sometimes provied alot cleaner proportions and animations of charachters.

Oh definitely. I have no problem with CGI itself, its just the way they're using it. I admit, I thought they did a pretty good job with most of the transitions (like zooming out from a 2D face to show a 3D body), but I felt there was a glaring difference in some of those scenes (such as the fight with that winged monster towards the end of the video).

I wasn't trying to sound elitist, but as a consumer and a fan of the series I think I'm free to express my opinion on certain aspects of the movie. Its not like I said "omg CGI sucks, this movie is crap!", I simply said that I didn't love it. Either way, this is still one of my most anticipated movies of 2011.

If it Cuts after the Eclipse I'll be pissed... really wantin to see the Berserk Armor animated..

The first 3 films are only supposed to cover the "Golden Age" arc, which, I'm sure you're aware, ends after the events of the Eclipse. The plan is to continue with further movies to cover the entire manga, but I'm sure that depends entirely on how well the Golden Arc trilogy does, as well as each movie that is successively green-lit.

If the money comes in, I'm sure the Berserk Armor will be a thing of monstrous beauty.

i am reading the manga i wish the would make all of it into anime but this animation doesnt seem to capture the darkness of berserk should still be good
