looks more of a cocane ad the johnny walker
Are they putting LSD in Johnny Walker now? If not, I don't see how this promotes it.

Then again, this isn't much different from the asinine Coca-Cola commercials we have at US theaters with the CG utopias, the most recent one I've seen being the dragon trying to melt down the ice castle, only to be thwarted by being conned into drinking a Coke, which turns dragons' fire into sparkly, glittery, rainbow-colored fireworks and turns murderous rancor into overflowing mirth.

But I can totally see how that nonsense promotes Coke as Coke originally had Coca in it, the source of Cocaine, the wonder-drug that gave us greatness like Freud and Doctor Rockzo. "You know what ah do, and ah'm doin' it baby." "Hey there johnny hot dog, COCAINE!"

I can't see how transforming, acid-trip QBert here promotes crappy scotch though. Can soeone help me out here?
a drunkard or someone who is faded probably sees the world like this when under the influence. GNARLY!
Johnny Walker Japanese Edition: Now with 10% more acid trips!
Obviously, the first thing that comes to you're mind when you watch this is Scotch Whisky
this what your brain on drugs looks like chased with a shot of whisky. i thought it was really interesting reminds of a animated movie called The Point.
Hmm. Yes, I agree with others. I've drank a lot of Scotch (my Stress Reliever of choice) and I've never had this sort of experience, though it does remind me of a couple of other things that did.
The Japanese people imagination haves no boundaries...
Why do so many people here think this is ridiculous and has nothing to do with whiskey, when this is an anime/fantasy streaming site we are at now? People here are frequent viewers of the fantastic. This ad is one of the best animations I've ever seen. Very imaginative and very well produced/executed.
So that's what happens when you drink too much. I liked the art :)
In the 60's they had light shows of random colors projected on a screen while music played and people tripped on drugs. Playing off that inspiration there were a few acid induced cartoons (ie beetles= yellow submarine). I thought this was fun and well made. The people that made this are thinking of mental and social freedom not the escapism or dropping out that was glorified in the 60's. Work like this might look similar but it is totally opposite the old escapist drug culture that only offered the temporary artificial freedom of getting high.
I enjoyed the short, but I fail to make the connection to Whiskey...
I guess I will just look on the bright side that Johnny is keeping at least one anime studio in business. As long as they don't try to make movies and series, big business can throw all the money they want at anime imho.
I can't stop watching this. I've probably watched it 4 times.
Awesome !!!!!
