Type-Moon's "Mahou Tsukai no Yoru" Demo Now Available

Get an early look at the newest supernatural thriller visual novel from the creators of Fate/zero

The last time we saw Mahou Tsukai no Yoru, it was through a bunch of really nice screenshots showing off character and background art. With the release date nearing, Tsukihime and Fate/zero creator Type-Moon has released a demo of the PC game (under "Special"), but there's hope for Western fans too!

While there's already a text translation available, an enterprising group of fans has released an English version of the Mahou Tsukai no Yoru demo--just download the three parts of the demo and you're set.

Much like Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code, it's not very likely that this game will be making it Stateside, but it's nice to be able to check out new titles, and if they're popular enough they do tend to make it across the Pacific. What do you think? Are you gonna check out Type-Moon's newest supernatural epic?

This game looks awesome...curse you english reading brain-hurry up and finish learning Japanese
is that Russian?
Yep thats Russian. Which makes it kinda funny that they did an English translation.
They didn't translate it to English themselves; they simply took the "Empty Boundaries" fan-translation (http://emptyboundaries.wordpress.com/2012/01/26/there-was-a-mansion-that-rested-on-top-of-a-hill/) and put it in the demo.
Hm, interesting and it's good to have fans.
I've been really interested
Thank you Russian people for translating :)
Yes I'm gonna check it out! I freaking <3 Type-Moon!
I am so excite.
Demo looks great so far. The visuals, music, sound, and direction are HUGE leaps forward from FS/N. Some of the sounds so far remind me of Higurashi/Umineko, which is a very good thing.

Looking forward to the full game eventually!
Anyone generous enough to help out a Russian-inept individual with downloading these 3 parts? I'm at the 'narod.ru' page, there seemed to be a CAPTCHA which I typed in, along with some sort of countdown after, but I'm pretty much stuck after that....

Would really appreciate it! :)
When you type in the numbers and click the green button, I think it was, the page then shows up a link up top somewhere that you can click and you should get download prompt. Thank god the CAPTCHA are numerical and not Russian letters.
I'm still playing the trial, which seems to be a veryyy long trial for being a trial version btw. It's simply amazing and beautiful, the story and the graphics. Everything about it just draws you in completely. It's also very modernized.
Wow if this did make it to USA I'd definitely buy it, great quality, great storyline, great graphics!
The easiest way to download the files are to enter the captcha code and then press the green button below the code.

On the following page it will come up with the file name with a .html extension after it and when clicked asks you if you want to install some software (unknown to me as i do not understand Russian so i denied it) and then all you need to do is right click on the hyperlink and choose your save link/target as option and it will start downloading.

You can download all parts at the same time as there does not seem to be a limit on simultaneous link downloads like rapid-share, mega-upload etc.

Thanks a bunch guys, but something may just be wrong on my end. Every time I download any of the parts, they keep coming up as measly 44 byte files.

Oh well, I guess??
