as epicly wonderful as a show this is... i don't know if i can listen to the dub...
I heard good things. As in I will trust them to not mess up this one.

Trying it out once won't hurt.
The Kyubey and Mami dub appear to be pretty solid (from the YT videos Aniplex uploaded interviewing the voice actresses). The Madoka dub... not so sure about that one. And I'm not sure CrisVee was the sound choice for Homura. I don't think she has it in her to pull Homura's later lines. But most of the cast was pretty decent.
Wow for once Aniplex of America are making something available in the UK... Except the rest of the series will probably never be released here so it's a bit pointless. Plus if it's a livestream, which it sounds like it is, then no one in the UK is going to watch it at 4:30AM..
Heck, if it's getting released in Italy, I can't see why a British licensor wouldn't pick it up. The Italian release it's slightly cheaper (~42 euro) than the American and it includes a cheap little nendoroid petit. But it's only subbed. In Italian, of course.
I would have expected an announcement by now though from Manga Entertainment UK if it was being released here. Madman already made the announcement for an Australian release and normally Manga Entertainment UK share costs with Madman if they license the same show together. Other UK companies could release it but that's unlikely as other UK companies release very little recent anime. Manga Entertainment UK is the only once that releases a decent amount.

It's possible it will come out in the UK on DVD eventually (but probably not BluRay), but if it does we will not be getting the special edition. The UK never gets special editions.
Sorry to hear that. At least you don't get too many complaining fans bitching about how "overpriced" the special editions are.
This is one of those situations where I wish I could just set my computer to record it for me. Because circumstances require me to be definitely not near my computer at that date and time.
I'll get off work just as it is ending. :(
You can reserve a timeshift:

Why would anyone watch a foreign language rework subtitled back into the original release language?
To work on their English skills.
Japanese anime fans love watching english dubs of major series like Haruhi and Lucky Star.
Already thought this would be worth a look, and the ANN review pretty much confirms it. Now, to hope this doesn't get ignored and never released in the UK. Or at least that I can stay up for 4.30 to see the first episode.
Watching a dub with Japanese subtitles is intriging and I want to give the dub a shot before I get the blu-rays in a couple of weeks.
wow this anime is rrly getting popular i've seen alot of AMV for it on youtube i mean ALOT!!
WOW THIS ANIME IS REALLY GETTING POPULAR ALOT OF AMVS FOR IT TOO ON YOUTUBE
Sweet, I shall check it out~
I only want to hear Mami voice!! She's the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll gladly endure this dub just because I'm a huge fan of the series. QUESTION: will the show start automatically on the given link, or do we have to press a certain button? Google translate is working poorly for me.
