Air travel has become notoriously dire in recent years, but Taiwan's EVA Air has an antidote - three Hello Kitty branded jets flying out of Taipei.  "Magic Jet" spreads the message of love and friendship and flies to Sapporo and Guam, "Apple Jet" celebrates Kitty's love of the fruit and flies to Seoul and Fukuoka, and "Global Jet" brings the world together and serves Hong Kong and Tokyo.

 

This is the second iteration of Hello Kitty branded air travel at EVA Air. The first ran from 2005 to the license's expiration in 2009. The latest agreement will run at least a year.

My mom would probably spend her life savings to fly on this plane, and drag her grand daughter with her just to get the kids meal set.

I actually flew on the Taipei->HK plane back in Dec. The amenities are as they present them, excepting the meal - it wasn't quite so pretty (not sure about first class or if it's just for kids). They also have Hello Kitty toilet paper in the bathroom.
