nano.RIPE to Perform "Sankarea" Anime Theme

nano.RIPE, the three person band used for many of Hanasaku Iroha's opening and ending themes, has been chosen to provide the opening for the upcoming Sanakrea anime.

 

 

The song being used is called "Esoragoto" ("Pipe Dream"). Handling music in general is Yukari Hashimoto, who recently worked on Mawaru Penguindrum and Mayokichi!. 

 

Here's what nano.RIPE has been up to since Hanasaku Iroha—their newest single, "Yuki no Sei" (roughly, "Because of Snow") came out January 31st:

Reading the manga, I think the song would sort of fit nicely XD, depending how the OP will look though.

Sounds like shes using a voice modulator, but I know its just that Japanese girls are able to do weird things with their voices. lol

It's hard to tell with them what the normal voice is... most of their stuff sounds like the track featured in the video... but I have heard them use vocal effects in other songs... maybe they use them all the time and adjust it depending on the song lol.

I like them though, they are a good group to just chill out and listen to.

This particular anime, I dunno, don't know anything about it, but they fit pretty perfectly into Hanasaku Iroha.

I seriously thought they changed her voice for the Hanasaku Iroha songs, but I guess that's just how she sounds... Personally, I can only see her voice fitting in with anime.
