Good Smile Expands Cheerful JAPAN! Figure Line with Tachikoma

"Ghost in the Shell" figure to support victims of March 11, 2011 Tohoku quake

Good Smile Company announced that they will be expanding their line of Cheerful JAPAN! quake relief charity figures to include Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex's tachikoma AI tank and real-life Japanese Grand Prix racer Kamui Kobayashi.

Nendoroid Tachikoma: Cheerful Ver. is available in the popular blue color that has been sold out for a while, with the charity line's banner and pom-poms.

Nendoroid Kamui Kobayashi: Ganbare Japan Ver. has the helmet used in the Malaysia Grand Prix and Chinese Grand Prix, plus a pull-back racecar toy.

The figures are available for 4,000 yen each (about US $52; 1,500 from Tachikoma and 1,000 from Kamui go to charity). GSC expects to ship in June, but overseas sales will occur between February 10-27th on their online shop.
