Kotobukiya Schedules North American Release for Adorable Saber Lily

Cute redesign of "Fate/Unlimited Codes" version of Saber coming in June

Generally when you see a great Japanese figure release, you either have to go through the trouble of importing it or be satisfied appropriating it from afar. That's not the case with ultra-cute Saber Lily. Kotobukiya will be importing it to North America themselves.

The Saber Lily with Caliburn, its scabbard, and swappable faces will be released in Japan in May for ¥3,200 ($42). According to Kotobukiya's Facebook page, the figure will be coming to North America in June.

Kotobukiya describes the figure:

A Kotobukiya Japanese import! Kotobukiya returns to the wildly popular anime and visual novel game series Fate/Stay Night with a new model kit of the courageous young warrior woman: Saber Lily-San! Based on her appearance in the game Fate/Unlimited Codes, Lily is presented in an adorable style that shows off her fighting prowess as well as her cuteness. The blonde warrior is comprised of multiple parts with pictorial instructions for straightforward assembly. The result is a heavy-duty, highly detailed armor with multiple points of articulation for a high degree of posing options! In addition to her suit of armor complete with wide skirt, the little fighter wears a bow in her hair and carries her trusty blade Caliburn (with or without its scabbard). Lily even offers you a tremendous amount of options for customizing her look: two interchangeable faces, three sets of eyes, and five types of hands (clenched fists, open hand, two different blade grips, and a grip for holding the scabbard)! Display Saber Lily-San alongside the previously released Saber version for a terrific duo.

Available June 2012.
