"K-on!" Anime Movie Turning London into the Next Otaku Mecca?

Otaku brings Ritsu love to the UK

Lucky Star sent fans to the characters' home town of Kasukabe and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya notoriously caused problems for author Nagaru Tanigawa's Nishinomiya high school. However, last December's K-on! movie has some otaku saving up for airfare rather than a train ticket as they follow Ho-kago Tea Time to London.

Fan "Kamille Biden" recently posted their K-on! inspired photos of a trip to England, which Japanese anime bloggers are embracing as a "pilgrimage" to a "holy land."
