Ryu Hayabusa Sports his NES "Ninja Gaiden" Rags in "Dead or Alive 5"

2P costume goes back to his Famicom and arcade roots

Fans introduced to Ninja Gaiden protagonist Ryu Hayabusa in his Xbox days probably don't hold fond memories of his more colorful beginnings. The rest of us, however, know Ryu for his less stealthy blue threads, and Team Ninja is offering an homage to his Famicom/NES/arcade roots in Dead or Alive 5

Team Ninja tweeted an image of Ryu's 2P costume in the Dead or Alive 5 alpha version demo. Ryu has had a classic costume in every Dead or Alive, so it's nice to see tradition continue.
