VIDEO: Aniplex Showcases "Madoka Magica" Kyubey and Kyoko Dub Actresses

This week, Aniplex introduces Cassandra Lee as the voice of Madoka Magica's infamous mascot, Kyubey, and Lauren Landa as Kyoko Sakura.

 

The Puella Magi Madoka Magica Limited Edtion Box Set (BD/DVD/CD combo) Vol. 1-3 is available for pre-order ahead of its February 14th release date.

 

 

 

The Limited Edition Fate/zero Blu-Ray Disc Box I is available for pre-order ahead of its March 7th 2012 release:

Okay, Cassandra Lee is pretty good for Kyubey. But I definetly like Kyoko's voice. Well at some parts. Can't wait till the live feed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

first off KYUBEY IS SUPPOSED TO BE A GUY RIGHT??? I'm fine with the dub though. I actually really like Kyoko's voice dub. I started laughing at the fact that she actually eats through-out her lines.

Nominally, yes. But children and small animals tend to have female voice actors, regardless of the character's gender.

madoka seems like a decent dub - except that 'magical girl' sounds kinda corny compared to 'mahou shoujo'

Kyubei's voice actress is all wrong. Kubei is basically a devil disguised as a cute mascot character and she's playing him totally straight. His design is such that it feels cute at first but as you learn more about him it feels more and more sinister,what with his soulless eyes and somewhat monotone voice.

I really appreciate these interviews. I wish they would do more of them for every anime that comes out. I like both of their wishes too.
