Hit the Farm Via the Real Life "Harvest Moon" Tour

Why care for virtual alpacas when you can pet real ones?

The Harvest Moon series of farming games requires a special kind of mentality. You have to be patient, and you have to have an appreciation for the simple life. However, if you're just in it for the alpacas, you might be interested in the real life Harvest Moon: Land of Origin tour.

Travel agency H.I.S. is teaming up with game company Marvelous AQL for the tour, which will run between March 4 and March 31 for ¥6,980 (US$90). The bus leaves Shinjuku station at 7:00am and heads right for an alpaca farm, where you can go "back to nature" by helping out farm hands and feeding alpacas.

A hard morning's work deserves ample reward, and you'll get just that at an all-you-can-eat lunch at the Nasu Mori Beer Garden. After that, you can make cute alpaca pies, and you'll even leave with an alpaca 3DS strap for the effort.

Who could eat that? Oh wait, I could.

Would anyone here be interested in hitting up a tour like this if it were possible?
