Beams Produces "Baki the Grappler" x UFC T-Shirt
Top fighting manga t-shirt marks top fight promotion's return to Japan
With almost 21 years since the series first began, Keisuke Itagaki's Baki the Grappler is one of the heavyweights of fighting manga. US-based mixed martial arts fight promotion Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), which is only two years younger, will be returning to Japan for the first time in over a decade on February 26th.
By what we imagine can be no sheer coincidence, BEAMS is selling a Baki x UFC t-shirt, featuring the promotion's logo with Baki the Grappler's titular fighter depicted as on the cover of volume 6 of the third Baki manga series, Baki: Son of the Ogre. The limited edition t-shirt is selling for ¥5,040 (about US $64).
