A mysterious photo popped up a few days ago, showcasing Asura's Wrath leading man Asura engaged in a vicious one-on-one duel with Street Fighter's frontman Ryu. The internet was abuzz with speculation--was Asura bringing his legendary six-armed anger to the newest build of Street Fighter?
Capcom and CyberConnect2 are returning to the world of gods and multi-fisted pugilism with some upcoming DLC for the multi-genre brawler. While no details have been released as to when these new chapters will be coming out or what Ryu's actual involvement is, we do have a few screenshots--one tying to Chapter 11's insane duel on the moon and the other tying to Chapter 15, both featuring animated cutscenes from Studio 4°C of Catherine fame.
Honestly, it makes me kinda wish the whole game was animated like this. While it's a gigantic and beautiful HD festival of wanton and stylish devastatation, having it literally be a playable HD anime would've been kind of awesome. What do you think? Are you going to be checking out Asura's Wrath (out today!), and these DLCs along with it?
