Burger King’s famed slogan “Have It Your Way” was recently put to the ultimate test in Japan when a writer from mondo news site Rocket News 24 ordered a Double Whopper with 10 extra patties.

 

Note delicious BK fries at left. Now that's living dangerously!


How can such things be? Contributor Kuzo describes the incredibly liberal business model of BK Japan thusly:

 

Recently, when we learned that Burger King lets you stack on as many hamburger patties as you have the stomach to support, we decided to test the claim by ordering a Double Whopper with 10 extra patties.


The mind-boggling unwrapping video below is a must-see for all who appreciate massive feats of Japanese engineering. Tokyo Tower and the Sky Tree simply fail by comparison!


 

So what happened next? HE ATE IT!

 

I bit into the (Whopper) and soon lost myself in its greasy deliciousness... Now excuse me while I go get my stomach pumped.

I knew someone that would do this but with Wendy's. He would have to call ahead to get it ordered like this. The guy was absolutely disgusting and the way he ate made you want to vomit but it was amusing.

Most fast food places let you do this, they just dont often advertise it. I worked at an A & W when I was much younger and a couple people would order 6 patties on a burger every week.

OH MY! Well, now there is about 15000 calories I didn't need all at once! LOL!
Just looking at that made me gain weight and I really do like BK Whoppers! I think I would have taking off 9 of the patties and froze some for....9 meals later! Making that meal very cost effective.

Before my mid-20's I could have chowed down on this with no problem. Of course, I would have preferred three 4-pattie burgers instead of a single one with 12...and maybe some fries on the side. In my youth, I was one of those slim people that can somehow eat a ton and gain no weight. (Indeed I would actually lose weight unless I ate a lot).

Now I couldn't even fit that much in my stomach, and if I did, there would be consequences.

If you have the metabolism for it, I say enjoy it while you can!

I tested this myself by ordering a triple whopper + chicken... the guy didn't think I was serious at first lol, it wasn't quite as beastly as this mountain of meat, but it was certainly a filling meal.

I have a friend who once ordered a double triple with extra bacon (that means 6 patties). This reminds me of that. He had grease dripping down his arm, and the bottom bun was basically dissolved from the grease.

250-400 calories, 20g - 30g of fat per patty.. around 2500 to 4000 calories and 200g - 300g of fat for the patties alone (~40-60 trans fat).. but still not as epic as epic meal time//
