VIDEO: "MPD Psycho" Author Lectures on Modern Manga's Wartime Roots

Horror author, social critic, and academic Eiji Otsuka lectures in North America for the first time

Eiji Otsuka is a successful horror manga author with works adapted by Takashi Miike (MPD Psycho) and optioned by Hollywood (Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service), but he's also an editor, social critic, and academic. From February 4 to 6, Montreal, Quebec's Concordia University hosted the expert on post-war manga and the evolution of otaku culture for lectures as part of its President's Conference Series.
