This is almost a cruel joke. The original Shin Megami Tensei never made it outside of Japan, where it was ported from Super Famicom to a number of platforms, including Game Boy Advance. That version has now made its way to iOS and is available in the Apple App Store… but it's still in Japanese.
The iOS version of SMT—compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad—was released in the App Store by Atlus' parent company, Index Corp. For $13.99 you can rock the GBA port with a virtual d-pad and face buttons on the screen's lower half. Now about those language options…
Maybe a few of our readers who know Japanese can wring some enjoyment out of this, but otherwise it seems like a tease.
