Sega to Release Hatsune Miku Rhythm Game "Miku Flick" on iDevices

Flick to the rhythm to make Hatsune Miku's concert a success

Sega has announced that Hatsune Miku will finally be getting her own rhythm game on iDevices this upcoming Miku Day (3/9). Miku Flick, a single player rhythm action game, is scheduled to be released on the iTunes app store on 3/9/2012 for 1200 yen (~$15 USD) for the iPhone 4、iPhone 4S、4th generation iPod Touch, iPad、and iPad2. Unlike the other Miku rhythm games games where you press buttons to the rhythm, in Miku Flick, you input the song's lyrics to the rhythm using flick input.

For those unfamiliar with this input type, you put your finger on the consonant part of the character and flick to the vowel part. (See the screenshots below.) For those who are not used to flick input, the game even includes an easy mode.

As with the other Hatsune Miku rhythm games, successful inputs clear the level and doing poorly causes her singing to become poorer. More screen shots can be seen on the official site.
