As we previously reported, "Itaita (pain boards)", the snowboards decorated with anime/manga/game characters, are getting more and more popular in Japan. The official blog for Kisaki lake camp site reported one of the biggest Itaita events in this winter, "The 2.5th Itaita OFF in Tsugaike Kogen". The event was held in Tsugaike Kogen Ski Park in Nagano on March 3 and 4. More than 80 people brought their self-made Itaita for the event. The total number of the boards were about 150. There were even some cosplayers enjoying skiing on their Itaita.
