Directed by wild man Takashi Miike (Ichi the Killer, Ace Attorney, and much, much more), the film's full official trailer has been released. Have a look below!

The manga—previously adapted into a live-action TV series in 1974, and three live-action films in '74, '75, and '76—follows high school delinquent Makoto Taiga (Satoshi Tsumabuki) and good girl Ai Saotome (Emi Takei).

Ai to Makoto premieres in Japanese theaters on June 16.
