Ahead of the release of the latest entry in the long-running Fire Emblem strategy RPG series and following the first six minutes of gameplay, the first trailer has been posted showcasing the intro movie for the game.
The game will be the first to use paid DLC via Nintendo Network in Japan and is an all-new story, not being a remake of a previous game in the series. Fan favorite Marn will make an appearance in the new game, but not much is known about the extent of his participation in the game, which will have dragons play a central role in both the story and gameplay.
New game features include a new option to perform a team-up attack with a supporting character, the return of the "My Unit" system to create and customize characters, a new world map where you can enter battles or purchase supplies from locations on the map and the return of Special Skills where characters can have five Skills at one time and can be freely changed for certain situations. A US release has yet to be announced officially but is expected for later this year.
Any Fire Emblem fans willing to put down the cash for this game, or is it too much of a departure from past games?
