NIS America Licenses "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai" TV Anime (Updated)

2011 noitaminA series to be released on July 3rd, 2012

Some internet sleuths have turned up that NIS America (aka NISA) announced today in Prinny Bomb 222 that they have licensed the 2011 noitaminA Spring series Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai (aka AnoHana), which they will be releasing under the much shorter title anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day. NISA will be releasing the 11 episode series subtitled on July 3rd, 2012 in a complete series premium edition which will contain the series on both BD and DVD in a premium box with a hardcover art book for $69.99

Plot summary from the NISA website:

Jinta Yadomi and his group of childhood friends have become estranged after a tragic accident split them apart. Now in their high school years, a sudden surprise forces each of them to confront their guilt over what happened that day and come to terms with the ghosts of their past.
