First Details on Suda51's Next Game "Killer Is Dead" Surface

Game to combine elements of No More Heroes and Killer 7, slated for next year on PS3 and Xbox 360

It looks like Suda 51's partnership with Kadokawa Games is paying off in spades following the success of Lollipop Chainsaw in Japan, as there will be another game released under the current Grasshopper/Kadokawa partnership currently known as Killer Is Dead.

The game will combine elements from two of Suda's most critically acclaimed games, No More Heroes and Killer7, with a fencing combat mechanic fused with beam saber combat, along with yet to be confirmed additional combat elements unique to the game. The protagonist is yet to be named and his occupation has been determined as an "executioner of assassins," with the guiding keywords for the central concept of the game being "Moon and Earth."

This may sound like a sequel to Killer 7 and No More Heroes after reading that last bit, but rest assured this is a new game, and what would a Suda51 game be without a group of equally deadly and sexy ladies, which the game will introduce as "Darkside 007" in a nod to the Bond Girls of the James Bond franchise. While no more specific details were provided, the game is slated for release next year on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Now that we know what Suda51's next project will be, anyone want to speculate what it might look like?
