We've had GPS units around for a while now, but for the most part they just use the same old typical design and graphics (unless it's a Garmin). For those of you who'd like more stylized directions while you're looking for the only Weinerschnitzel in the county, the Evangelion Portable Navi GPS has you covered.
Sporting an Evangelion-style interface and voices from Megumi Hayashibara (Rei) and Megumi Ogata (Shinji), the device can also play movies and TV if you feel like watching End of Evangelion on the ride home for some psychotic reason.
You can even set your personal navigation avatar to be one of the Eva units from the series, or Kaworu's mysterious Eva from the most recent movie. You can also have a distance timer showing in the style of the series' famous battery countdown timer! The Evangelion Portable Navi GPS will retail for 39,800 yen (about $493) and will be sold exclusively through the Evangelion Store.
So what do you think? Would you pick one of these up so you can replicate Misato's infamously terrible driving?
