One Peace Books (not to be confused with One Piece) has confirmed an Amazon listing showing that they will be bringing comedy manga Crayon Shinchan back to North America in three three-volumes-in-one collections for $12.95 each.
The series has previously been published in the region by Comics One and DC's CMX imprint, while FUNimation has released a radically localized version of the anime.
While the anime version of Shinchan skewed a bit young, the original manga, concerning a preciously vulgar kindergarten boy, the manga ran in seinen anthology Manga Town.
One Peace Books, who previously published Yumiko Shirai's mythic reimagining Tenken and Shiho Torii's self-help manga So I Need to Lose 15 Pounds, as well as an edition of literary novelist Osamu Dazai's Schoolgirl, recently translated husband and wife team Doton Yamaaki's Breathe Deeply and Masahiko Kanehisa's The Bible: A Japanese Manga Rendition.
One Peace has also planned released of "Manga Classic Readers" editions of Don Quixote, Great Gatsby, Moby Dick, Ulysses, and The War of the Worlds.
