VIDEO: Traditional Japanese Musical Group Plays Hatsune Miku's "Senbonzakura"

Fusion of traditional and super-modern Japanese music

"Karakuri Manyoshu feat. Hatsune Miku" is a new compilation album features Japanese-traditional-music version of vocaloid songs by Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Len, GUMI, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, and Gackpoid. The special edition of the album is bundled with a bonus DVD contains a promotional video that a traditional Japanese musical group Kineie Nami Shachu (Nami Kineie Ensemble) plays Hatsune Miku's popular song "Senbonzakura". The song was originally composed by KurousaP in September 2011 and the video has been viewed more than 3 million times at Nico Nico Douga since then.


The traditional Japanese musical instruments played in the video are shamisen, 17-string koto, fue, shakuhachi, tsuzumi, and taiko. The singer is Kyounosuke Yoshitake. The album is scheduled to be released on April 25 in Japan.
