Efforts to cast the dark adaptation of the Garon Tsuchiya and Nobuaki Minegishi manga and Park Chan-wook film, Oldboy, haven't gone too smoothly, with folks like Girl With the Dragon Tattoo's Rooney Mara turning down roles. But, after The King's Speech's Colin Firth and Children of Men's Clive Owen passed on the role of villain, Sharlto Copley (District 9, The A-Team) has signed up.
The latest news about the Spike Lee directed project also reveals the lead characters' names. Copley is configured as mysterious billionare Adrian Pryce, while Josh Brolin's anti-hero will be named Joe Douchett.
