McDonald's to Offer Downloadable "Dragon Quest" Monsters in Japan

Grab a burger and some bonuses for "Terry's Wonderland 3D"

Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland 3D comes out on Nintendo 3DS in Japan on May 31, which makes that the perfect opportunity to celebrate the purchase with a pipin' hot Big Mac. McDonald's isn't leaving those odds to hunger alone, though, and is offering a special treat in the form of two downloadable Dragon Quest Monsters creatures.

On the day of Terry's Wonderland's release, players will be able to hit up McDonald's and download a Slanin Purple monster.  Then, starting June 9, they can visit any McD's with Mac de DS service to nab the legendary bird Lumia from Dragon Quest III

The offer runs until June 21, giving fans almost a solid month of opportunity to pick up the rare monsters. It definitely beats most of the toys we get with our Happy Meals in America.
