Latest AKB48 "Peel Off Advertisement” Appears at Shinjuku Station

Group's 26th single, “Manatsu no Sounds Good!“ released on May 23rd

To promote their upcoming single, “Manatsu no Sounds Good!," the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line in Shinjuku Station sported the latest of pop mega-group AKB48's "peel off" ads. Heart-shaped phalanx of 1,600 post-it thumbs-ups could be removed to reveal the girls' faces. Reportedly, it only took a couple hours for all the stickems to be removed.

The regular edition of the single will enclose a serial number to vote for the ‘AKB48 27th Single General Elections ~Fan ga Erabu 64 Giseki~‘.
