Ah My Goddess' Kousuke Fujishima Designs Chibi Mascot

Western Japan's largest pop culture trade show gets a currently nameless mascot

The Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair 2012, scheduled for September 21st, is set to be the biggest pop culture trade show in Western Japan. To mark the event, Kousuke Fujishima, author of the granddaddy of magical girlfriend manga, Ah! My Goddess and designer for Sakura Wars and Tales of games, has designed a cute mascot.

 

 

The character is actually looking for a name. Submissions are being accepted through June 29th. The winner will get an autographed sketch.

 

AKB 48's Mayu Watanabe is official onboard to cheer on the event.
