VIDEO: "Street Fighter X Tekken" PS Vita Gameplay and Cinematics

Check out six of the twelve temporary Vita-exclusive characters along with a story update

If there was one glaring weak point about Street Fighter X Tekken other than its gameplay, it was its story. Yeah yeah, "you don't play a fighting game for the story," I know, but at least Capcom vs. SNK and Marvel vs. Capcom were better with their respective character interactions and buildup. Battling Akuma and Rugal in the rain atop Kyoto's Nijo Castle was one of the coolest final boss moments in fighting games.

For the PS Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken, Capcom wanted to make everything bigger--more characters, more story, more action, and from what I'm seeing in these trailers they're doing a pretty solid job. First up is a look at Final Fight battle-bros Cody and Guy:

Then the Tekken characters take the stage, with Bryan Fury and his own personal JACK-6, followed by new Tekken leads Lars Alexandersson and Alisa Bosconovitch:

Finally, Capcom gives us an eight-minute story trailer, setting up how some of the characters meet and... somehow fight? Vega and Balrog are smarter than they look:

My only problem with that: not enough Dudley. So, fight fans--I know I haven't been playing SFxT much since I did the review, but what about you? Will the Vita version--and its new characters coming to console--make you pick the game back up? Folks who've been on the fence, does this change your mind?
