"Ender's Game" Author and Daughter Collaborate on Game-Based Manga

Orson Scott and Janice Card work with Udon Comics on "Firefall Affinity"-based weekly comic

Sci-fi novelist Orson Scott Card—best known for his soon to be Hollywood adapted Ender's Game—daughter Emily Janice Card, and the folks at Udon Comics—best known for their adaptations of Capcom games—are working together on a weekly manga tie-in to Red 5 Studios' multiplayer game Firefall Affinity

The comics can be read online here.

Follow the adventures of Pilgrim, a teenage girl, as she comes to terms with her own power, tries to repair the rift between her parents, and survive the Melding that is engulfing the planet after the crash of the Arclight. Written by Orson Scott Card and Emily Janice Card with artwork provided by Udon Comics, the official Firefall manga starts June 5th.

Do you agree with Red 5 Studios' decision to label the Cards' and Udon's work "manga?"
