VIDEO: Song and Dance Clip from Takashi Miike's "Ai to Motoko" Adaptation

Following recent Cannes screening, movie opens in Japan June 16th

After wowing the world with his gruesome samurai epic 13 Assassins last year, prolific director Takashi Miike just reasserted his legendary range with a Cannes screening of For Love's Sake, an adaptation of '70s shonen relationship manga Ai to Makoto. Ahead of next week's Japanese release, Cinema Today has posted a "song and dance" preview.

The 1972 manga about a good girl and scarred boy was written by sports manga legend Ikki Kajiwara aka Takamori Asao (Tiger Mask, Judo Sanka), and illustrated by Takumi Nagayasu (Katsuhiro Otomo's collaborator on Mother Sarah).
