Ame-Comi Digital Comic Introduces Bishoujo Batgirl

New "manga-style" takes on Batgirl and Robin confront Poison Ivy

After a three week introduction to a "Japanese manga-style version of Wonder Woman," written by Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray and illustrated by Amanda Conner, DC Comics' digital Ame-Comi series has turned its attention to bishoujo Batgirl. Sanford Greene (Archie's Sonic the Hedgehog series) draws the new take on Batgirl and Robin as they confront adversary Poison Ivy.

The weekly comics are available via DC’s app and ComiXology for 99 cents an issue.

Batgirl and Robin have put aside the costumes and are ready to hit the town for a little fun--that is, until Poison Ivy turns up to create some chaos. And when two of her friends join, the Dynamic duo find themselves outnumbered.

What do you think of this version of the characters?
